Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of What2Bring ("Service"), operated by What2Bring ("we", "us"). By using What2Bring you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

What2Bring is a web-based tool that lets organisers create shared item sign-up lists for events (potlucks, group gatherings, etc.) and allows guests to claim items to bring. The Service is provided as-is.

2. Accounts

Organisers must create an account to create and manage events. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts for others without their consent.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use What2Bring to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Plans and Payments

Free plan — limited to 1 event per month and 2 colour themes. No credit card required.

Starter plan — $5/month. Unlimited events, logo upload, all colour themes, and full feature set. Billed monthly via Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Guest Data

As an organiser, you are responsible for ensuring guests consent to having their name and email collected through your event sign-up page. Do not use What2Bring to collect information from people without their knowledge. Guest email addresses must only be used for event-related communication.

6. Intellectual Property

What2Bring and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright. You retain ownership of the content you create (event names, item lists, instructions). By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content to provide the Service.

7. Availability

We aim to keep What2Bring available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update the Service, or take it offline temporarily without notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, What2Bring is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, missed events, or undelivered reminder emails.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered organisers of significant changes via email. Continued use of What2Bring after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
